Furthermore, with all due respect VIO, I do believe you were sent a notice, prior to the suspension of benefits. To what e-mail address??? HUH? HUH? We do not know.
It is your responsibility to answer back to those notices. If you do not, BINGO.
Here is a link for you, just in case:
With all due respect, my days are not numbered because I have done nothing wrong, as I will try to prove in due course. As we speak, it is the SSA that is being thoroughly investigated by Mr. Elon Musk, not I. Two of the top SSA employees have been fired already, as everyone who watches the news knows. When competent and above board employees at the SSA will replace the many others who are about to get the boot, I shall still be receiving my benefits.
With the same due respect, if not still more, I assure you the SSA never bothered to warn me the SSA-7162-OCR-SM form had not been returned. When I found out my benefits had been suspended, my heart attacked me viciously. I kid you not. The webmaster is in possession of the e-mail message I received from the SSA on 2-25-2025 at 18:59 my local time.
Let me remind you the SSA employee I spoke with over the phone about two years ago regarding my change of address REFUSED to accept it verbally. The format for entering the address on the SSA site is NOT meant for foreign addresses, BUT let me add a detail: the letter I e-mailed Mr. Trump (oh, yes I surely did) contained a box in which one could fill out any kind of address due to the fact that it was linear. Further more, Kelvin with the Boston, MD SSA was willing to take my new address over the phone. However, here too I hit a stumbling block: on their own letter, after the country name in the old address there is a code, 938. He said the code in my new address must be different, but he did not know it. And neither did I. And neither did the Romanian Post Office employee. God only knows what the bloody number is. Consequently, there was no change of address recorded. Form SSA-7162-OCR-SM had gone out to the old address in Bucharest where I had made arrangements with the landlord to have the mail forwarded to me. He did not check the mail box and neither did the new tenants who had been out for a long time. The form had landed in the box at the end of September or beginning of October 2024. Upon leaving Bucharest, I went to the Post Office to file a request for the mail to be forwarded, but was told it could not be done. However, my friend, K., did it for me in November of 2024. Go figure.
I could not vote last year for the same reason: the voting ballot was delivered to the old address, but I got it too late. The Los Angeles County Registrar of Voters also refused to accept my new address over the phone.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. A word of caution to those ready to pick up a stone: if you live in a glass house, don’t.
M8, if SSA days are numbered, so may be yours. Do not bite the hand that feeds you.
