Astronauts COOKING

Post by Vlad »

Can anybody explain WHAT material is being used in manufacturing of an astronaut suit, so that he or she will not be cooked while waltzing in the SUN, without the protective layer of our ozone depleted atmosphere?

Mr. Al Gore..?? Anybody??

I am not sure that there is any substance on earth that can handle the suns minimum 8000F temprature. Hardened steel liquifies at only 2000F.

I haven't seen any Russians walk in space. Just Americans.

What are their space costumes made of? How are they cooled or heated?? How can you cool it and heat it at the same time??

Could we manufacture a Global mesh out of it, in case the Ozone layer disappears? I mean, if it can protect the walking zombies around the International Space Station, why can't it protect the Earth?

Top secret?

Purpose of International Space Station

Post by webmaster »

Dear Yahoo!:

What is the purpose of the International Space Station?

Educated answer from Yahoo:

"Experimentation in space can forward our understanding of technologies required for further space exploration and possible habitation. Planned research includes studies of protein crystal, tissue culture, life in low gravity, the behavior of materials in space, and exterior studies of the space environment.

The second recommended site, NASA Human Spaceflight, describes recent benefits of space station science for contemporary Earth-dwellers: improved ergonomic solutions for industrial workers, better mapping technologies, new medical innovations, and cooler toys and golf clubs."

"Cooler toys and golf clubs" ?? :-))

Yeahh..All humanity hardly waits to hit a 18 hole golf course, somewhere, on a remote planet, before going 6 feet under.

And "the toys"?? What toys???

Adult toys??

Whatta joke.

Why doesn't NASA ask themselves why one of ITS space cadets employees, drove 900 miles in order to kill someone??? - First step in discovering what long term living in space does to humans?? - Could be a beginning
