As far as I know, the only castle Vladislav III ever LIVED in for any length of time was Hunedoara and that was only during training and imprisonment.
During his childhood, he lived in a large house, during his reign, he lived in a court and during the majority of time he was imprisoned, he lived in a large wooden house.
The place known as "Dracula's Castle" is Fort Poenari located in the town of Poenari. Fort Poenari WAS NOT Vladislavs home and he never stayed there for more then a few days at a time at the very most. Fort Poenai was a strategic fortress built to block enemy advancement through the area and remain an inaccessible location to enemy forces (what we today refer to as an "eagles nest" eagles nest being the name of a similar structure made for similar reasons by Hitler.
"Eagles Nests" are generally seldomly ever visited and uninhabited by anyone other then the buildings care-taker/s as was Fort Poenari.
