Janos Hunyadi and the Romanians
How important is Janos Hunyadi to the Romanians and how do the Romanians see him?
Pride is the root of all evil. Nothing good ever comes from it.

He is an important figure in the Romanian History and very much appreciated for his valiant attitude towards the Ottomans and also for the fact that his father, was of Romanian descent (Cneaz Voicu).
He is known as Iancu de Hunedoara in Romania. In 1441 he became Voievode of Transylvania. His second son, Matei Corvin became King of Hungary on January 24, 1458.
